Revolution in Bavaria 1918/19

Eisner's revolution in 1918 and the attempt to establish a soviet republic in Bavaria put an end to the long-standing regency of the Wittelsbach dynasty and had a great impact on the further political development of Bavaria in the 1920s and 1930s. The events of the years 1918/19 also attract the interest of academic researchers on an international scale. For this reason, a variety of documents on the history of the revolution and the soviet republic in Bavaria are being digitised within the framework of the project.
